Things have been a bit grim recently so Feckenham’s Wake Committee thought that we villagers could do with something to cheer us up - something to bring us out of our enforced hibernation - to wake us up….and so the idea of a festival to do just that was born.

The WAKE UP FECKENHAM FESTIVAL will run from Saturday, August 7th through to Saturday, August 14th and will contain a veritable treasure trove of delights guaranteed to cheer us up after a truly horrible 18th months.

Scroll down for the programme of events and details of how to book for those events that need booking for - most events are free, many are in the open air and those that are indoors will be designed to be "Covid Safe".

Thigs are developing all the time - we'll be adding new events as soon as we know about them - so come back soon to see if we've got more things to enjoy!

The reopening of Feckenham's Community Cinema

We’ve decided to reopen The FeckenOdeon with a BANG…. crash… woosh… kerump! The first film in the Mission Impossible series is all action and great fun - and fun is what we all could do with just now. It’s  25 years since Tom Cruise first burst onto the screen as Ethan Hunt of the Impossible Missions Force (IMF) - valiantly battling and chasing (and being chased) in defence of something so secret that every message about it will self destruct. Fast, Furious and back on the BIG screen for one show only!

For more details and to book tickets please go to www.feckenodeon.co.uk

Tuesday, 10th August at 7.30pm :

Art Talk and Demo

by Feckenham artist Ian Ridley (Village Hall).
For the many villagers who have one of Ian’s paintings on their wall, or for those who have visited his exhibitions in the past this provides an opportunity to see the artist at work and hear what and who has provided him with inspiration over the years. Ian also hopes to encourage people to pick up a brush and give it a go.

No Charge - just turn up.
